Throughout my tenure with the Arab Canadian Theatre, I have had the privilege of working in various roles that have allowed me to develop my skills while making a positive impact on the theatre's image. My journey began as a graphic designer when the theatre was first launched. As a graphic designer, I was responsible for creating visually compelling designs for posters, flyers, and other marketing materials that captured the essence of the theatre's productions.
As the theatre grew, I was given the opportunity to expand my role and become their marketing manager. This role allowed me to take on a more strategic approach to marketing and helped me develop a deeper understanding of the theatre's brand. I was responsible for overseeing the theatre's online presence, including their website and social media channels, and ensuring that all content was consistent with the theatre's brand.
In addition to my marketing responsibilities, I was also responsible for the theatre's in-house digital and print graphic design. This included creating designs for programs, tickets, and other promotional materials. It was a challenging but rewarding experience that allowed me to develop my skills as a designer and marketer, and I am proud to have played a part in the theatre's success.
